PVA | PVA710 Optical Bonding System | Automatic Dispenser

Reference: PVA710

The system is used to dispense Optical Bonding adhesives and assemble optical devices without contaminating bubbles. It is ideal for use with acrylics or optically clear silicones.

Optical Bonding is the process of using adhesive to attach a glass to the top surface of a display. The main objective is to improve the performance of the display by eliminating the air gap between the glass and the display. This procedure improves light transmission, prevents against contamination and increases the overall robustness of the final product.

The PVA710 system offers a complete Optical Bonding solution including dam and seal, dam dispensing, curing, filling with hot melt adhesive and placing the glass on the LCD. Application examples include LCD touch screen bonding, LCD glass cover, etc.

PVA’s Optical Bonding system utilizes a robust, gantry-type robot system with servo-controlled DC motors and spindle motion. Each axis of motion is equipped with an optical encoder that controls motor movement. The rotating support provides assembly of the glass cover without coming into contact with the equipment. The system can work with glass panels up to 17″ in 16:9 format.
