Marantz | SpectorBOX | AOI Automatic Inspection System

The Mek SpectorBOX AOI system is optimized for selective and wave solder inspection of THT components. It is designed to inspect PCBs placed on solder carts directly on the conveyor. With its new mechanical platform, it is the only modular AOI on the market that can be equipped with 9 chambers: 1 on the top and 8 on the sides. Depending on the requirements, it can be equipped with a movable optical head on the Z-axis to focus and position optimally for different PCB or buckling distances. The XY robot with spindle mechanics allows high-speed inspection while maintaining high accuracy and precision. The specially coated spindles provide quiet operation with minimal wear, thus requiring lower maintenance and calibration. With its I/O module, it can be simply connected to existing or new conveyor systems. For those who do not want to give up inspection, the modular AOI platform 2x SpectorBOX systems can be combined for simultaneous Bottom + Top inspection with up to 18 cameras.
