Optimal for production in cell manufacturing

With SMARTFLOW, Ersa expands its product range in this sector with a compact selective soldering system. With a footprint of less than 2.5 square meters, SMARTFLOW is perfectly suited for cell manufacturing production. The semi-automatic operates in all process steps with the proven Ersa selective soldering technology, just like the larger Ersa VERSAFLOW models, which do not suffer from quality and precision problems. The universal platform support allows the processing of board sizes up to 508 x 508 mm. The fluxer operates with the highest positioning accuracy and the lowest amount of flux deposition.

Features such as spray jet monitoring or process monitoring camera provide process reliability. Like the VERSAFLOW model range, SMARTFLOW is equipped with a complete preheater. The bottom heater is equipped with eight emitters, which can be switched in groups so that the energy consumed can be adapted to the heat demand and the size of the plate. The upper heater has been completely superimposed on the lower heater and is optimally matched to it. This ensures efficient and reproducible heating even for most complex components such as multilayer or heavy mass.

Modern process visualization with ERSAsoft 5

SMARTFLOW is the first system to be equipped with the modern ERSAsoft 5 operating software. This new version of our time-tested machine software impresses with its user-oriented structure in addition to modern visualization. Thanks to individual user interfaces, each user group gets the necessary data and information at a glance. Another highlight of the software is the picture-in-picture (PIP) function in combination with the process monitoring camera. Welding parameters and a live process image are available at a glance on the 24″ touchscreen, which makes working at the machine ergonomic and clearly organized.
