TOMOGRAPHIC SLICING SOFTWARE (uCT)

X-PLANE software in conjunction with a DAGE X-ray machine (Jade, Ruby or Diamond) allows tomographic slicing of certain components where a simple 2D inspection does not reveal defects. It allows layer by layer travel of the component, top to bottom, front to back and left to right.
It allows a 100% efficient inspection on BGA components with condesers on the opposite side. It allows to delimit the different packages that form a Package on Package. Using the X-Plane viewer you can review the area to be studied in 3D. It is easy to use, as NO programming knowledge is required. It works at very high magnifications with a perfect resolution without the need to cut or destroy the PCB.
