AB Electronic gives a preview of what it will be exhibiting at Matelec 2016

AB Electronic, leading distributor in the Iberian Peninsula of machinery and consumables for PCB assembly in THT and SMD technologies will present, once again at MATELEC, the latest innovations in the SMT world, such as the revolutionary AOI 3D Inspection Technology from the prestigious brand PARMI, the Xceed model, with a very low false failure rate, allows simultaneous 2D and 3D inspection showing the images in 3D. Thanks to the Xpert software, communication with SPI is possible.

In addition, we will have other relevant equipment such as the reflow oven HF3/20 of the brand KURTZ ERSA, leader in selective wave soldering and soldering ovens with the patented “Voidless” technology. This technology allows the formation of Voids to be reduced by up to 98% in just a few seconds compared to the standard welding process. Assemblies welded with this technology show an incredible improvement in the weld in terms of the formation of air bubbles or Voids. Particularly when using lead-free solder, the wetting properties decrease and the solder joints show a noticeable increase in air bubbles trapped in the solder meniscus.

In addition we can check “in situ” the efficiency of this equipment with our NORDSON DAGE X-Ray Inspection machine with the images of the retained Voids obtaining the automatic calculation in percentage of the same in the solder, even in 3D images.
