90º side-viewing lens with Ultra Narrow optical probe

With the smallest dimensions on the market, only 0.4×3.4mm, it can inspect highly populated boards with an accuracy of 40 microns. The ultra-small probe for BGA inspection needs only 0.8mm of free space to produce a bright image of the spheres underneath BGA, uBGA or CSP components.

This lens is easily mounted on Flexia Definition microscopes. In addition to inspection of BGA components, this lens can be used for side view of other objects such as solder paste, flux, varnish dipping or inspection of any other component. It incorporates internal LED illumination providing illumination without heating the device and without the need for any additional light source.

Optilia BGA lenses and optical probes are constructed of ESD metal and shockproof.
