Solderability Tester MUST Test Kits Accessories.

Lead-free soldering introduces new challenges to maintain the quality and reliability of electronic products, and solderability testing is a proven quantitative method to help achieve this requirement.

However, even the slightest trace of lead (Pb) in the testing process will compromise the results. In order to avoid any possible lead contamination, but to facilitate the continued use of your MUST solderability test system, GEN3 Systems offers the “Lead-Free Bath and Globule Set” and “Lead-Free Accessories Kit” options.

Both are available for conventional Sn/Pb alloy as well as lead-free.

The Bath and Globule Set includes a solder bath (and alloy) and 4 Globules: 4mm, 3.2mm, 2mm and 1mm plus test pellets (200mg, 100mg, 25mg and 5mg). For easy identification, the Sn/Pb items are supplied with blue finishes and the lead-free versions in green.

Everything needed for solderability testing is included in the Accessory Kit, as well as a CD containing useful information on solderability testing, and the excellent NPL Good Practice Guide.

The lead-free alloy is supplied in accordance with the latest revisions of the IPC and IEC standards: SAC 305: Sn 96.5/Ag 3.0/Cu 0.5 wt.% NB. SAC 387 is also available.
