7th Edition of the Technology Days, Eureka Zientzia Museoa in Donostia, June 1 2016

AB Electronic, leading distributor of SMD and THT in the Iberian Peninsula, has celebrated the 7th edition of the already famous Technology Days. This time, it was not in Madrid or Barcelona, but in San Sebastian. The event was held on June 1st in the Da Vinci room of the “Eureka Museoa Zientzia” in Donostia, where more than 50 attendees came early to start the day with great interest.

During the morning and part of the afternoon, in the hands of the experts, the basic and outstanding aspects of each process were exposed in front of the equipment “in situ”, thus having the opportunity to solve doubts and concerns in small groups.
This time AB Electronic spoke exclusively about the innovative processes that incorporate the 3D Optical Inspection technology, SPI and the expected Voidless technology, incorporated to the ASSCON VP800 vapor phase soldering equipment with vacuum, which reduces the formation of air bubbles in the PCBs up to 1%. All this was tested in front of the spectators with the best X-ray inspection equipment on the market, Nordson Dage Diamond with Flat Panel and CT (3D tomography). In addition, other basic processes in the SMD world such as the Expert 10.6 HV (BGA, QFN and CSP) Semiautomatic Component Repair equipment from Martin and the Selective Varnishing and PVA Dispensing system were also present.

To conclude the day, our customers were able to enjoy the Formula 1 simulators and, for the more daring, the MaxFlight flight simulator.
